Racial and Ethnic Multicultural Counseling
Aalih is a Licensed Social Worker. Advocating for women’s rights and wellness has been a life-long
passion and she is committed to creating spaces in which women’s voices can be heard. She
received her Bachelors in Social Work at East Stroudsburg University and her Masters in Social
Work at Marywood University. Her professional experience includes working as an Oncology
Social Worker and she has experience working with individuals living with anxiety, depression,
guilt, anger, grief/loss and has worked with patients to explore self-compassion, self-care,
journaling, and mindfulness as management techniques.
Aalih practices social work from a holistic, strengths-based perspective and believes in considering
the individual as a diverse, multi-dimensional being within their environment. Aalih believes there
is something to learn from every connection and interaction; this is essential to her practice of
social work to honor the client’s self-determination, values, and journey.
