• Angelica, NCC, CCTP

    Angelica Valentin is a National Certified Counselor, Certified Clinical Trauma Professional and Licensed eligible LPC. Angelica attended the University of Pennsylvania for her Masters in School and Mental Health counseling, and Chestnut Hill College for her Bachelor’s in Psychology. Her professional experience includes working within residential, school, and intensive outpatient settings with individuals and families living with anxiety, depression, guilt, mood disorders, traumatic and acquired brain injury, and trauma. Angelica has worked with clients of all ages. She specializes in working with adolescents, and families.
    Angelica is a mother to four children, with a special needs son. She is an ally for the special needs community and works with families navigating the emotions associated with newly diagnosed children. She works from a systemic perspective and recognizes that many challenges occur within the context of relationships and from influences within the environment. Angelica practices through an eclectic lens with experience in Cognitive Behavior Therapy, Acceptance and Commitment Therapy, Attachment Based Family Therapy and Mindfulness practices.
    Angelica believes therapy is an investment into your well-being. It’s not selfish to take care of yourself. By creating a warm, inviting safe space, she believes her clients can overcome these challenges and access their own strength, insight, and wisdom. Angelica offers both in person and virtual appointments with evening and weekend availability.
