Laura, MA, NCC, CCTS
Laura specializes in treating adults with depression, anxiety, trauma, codependency, grief/loss and is an ally to the LGBTQ+ community. Her passion is helping women at all stages of life and working with couples to rebuild connection and intimacy.
Laura completed her master’s degree in clinical mental health counseling at Immaculata University, and her professional experience includes providing outpatient counseling for adults in both individual and group modalities. She is a National Certified Counselor, a Certified Clinical Trauma Specialist, and has completed Gottman Level I training.
Laura utilizes a holistic approach to counseling by attending to the interaction between mind, body, and spirit. She recognizes that taking that first step to seek help can feel isolating and scary, and the key to a successful outcome is building a strong therapeutic relationship based on trust, warmth, and empathy. She invites all clients to explore their presenting concerns with curiosity and compassion. In sessions, Laura practices an integrative approach to treatment which includes mindfulness, psychoeducation, CBT, and ACT, as well as trauma-focused interventions.
She is available for telehealth appointments or in-person sessions at the Royersford location.
