Sarah is a Licensed Professional Counselor in the states of Illinois and Pennsylvania. As a neurodivergent, trauma informed, LGBTQ+ therapist, they offer specialization in the treatment of various concerns such as trauma, gender & sexuality, ADHD/Autism, victims of domestic violence, chronic illness/pain, relationship issues, racial injustice, anxiety, depression, and self-esteem. Sarah is sex-positive, kink allied, and works with non-monogamy.
Sarah uses a client-led, collaborative, and relational approach to therapy. They utilize various techniques and modalities such as Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR), Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), and Dialectical Behavioral Therapy (DBT).
Sarah has experience in the mental health field including the foster care system, community mental health, and outpatient services. They have experience leading groups for victims of domestic violence, anger management, and LGBTQ+ issues. Sarah received their Master’s degree in clinical mental health counseling from Bradley University in Illinois in 2022 and maintains continuing education as well as consultation in order to stay informed on current therapy practices and to provide the best possible care to clients.
