Stephanie Berlin, LPC, NCC, CCTP, CAADC, EMDR Provider

Stephanie is a compassionate and highly dedicated therapist who specializes in working with men, women, and young adults navigating recovery from trauma, addiction, and co-occurring mental health disorders. She has experience supporting individuals impacted by relational, attachment, and family-of-origin trauma; the effects of substance use and addiction; and reproductive trauma and perinatal mood disorders. Stephanie is committed to understanding and addressing the unique needs of her clients, recognizing the profound impact trauma can have on identity, emotional regulation, and the ability to establish safety and trust within relationships. Through a client-centered, empathetic, and collaborative approach, Stephanie assists clients in exploring the connection between past experiences and present patterns, process complex emotions, strengthen resilience, and develop the skills necessary for sustainable healing. She is known for fostering a calm, safe, and supportive therapeutic environment that encourages growth, insight, and overall well-being.
In addition to her work with trauma and addiction, Stephanie enjoys supporting individuals experiencing depression, anxiety, low self-esteem, relationship challenges, and life stressors. She emphasizes the importance of balance and self-care in the healing process and works collaboratively with clients to promote self-advocacy, establish healthy boundaries, and identify and prioritize personal needs.
Stephanie is a Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC), National Certified Counselor (NCC), Certified Clinical Trauma Professional (CCTP), Certified Advanced Alcohol and Drug Counselor (CAADC), and a trained EMDR provider, with specialized training in EMDR for reproductive trauma, perinatal mood disorders, and addiction. She holds a master’s degree in Clinical Counseling from Alvernia University and has extensive experience providing individual, group, and family therapy. Her integrative approach draws from evidence-based modalities including Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR) Therapy, Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), Motivational Interviewing (MI), solution-focused strategies, and mindfulness-based interventions to support meaningful and lasting change.
Outside of her clinical work, Stephanie values spending time with family and friends, traveling, reading, and practicing yoga as part of her personal self-care. She will be pursuing her RYT-200 certification to further integrate yoga and mindfulness practices into her work with clients and the broader community.
