Stephanie Berlin, LPC, NCC, CCTP, CAADC, EMDR Provider

Stephanie is a compassionate and highly dedicated therapist with a specialization in working with men, women, and young adults navigating recovery from relational, attachment, and family-of-origin trauma, addiction, and co-occurring mental health disorders. She is committed to understanding and addressing the unique needs of each individual, recognizing the profound impact that trauma can have on self-esteem, emotion regulation, interpersonal relationships, and overall functioning. Through a client-centered, empathetic approach, Stephanie empowers clients to recognize the impact of their past on present patterns and behaviors, process their emotions and experiences, develop resilience, and build the necessary skills for sustainable healing. She fosters a supportive and safe therapeutic environment that promotes personal growth and well-being.
Stephanie is also committed to supporting individuals in recovery from or impacted by the adverse effects of addiction, as well as those affected by depression, anxiety, low self-esteem, relationship conflicts, and life stressors. She understands the importance of effective balance and self-care in the healing process and works with her clients to promote self-advocacy, establish healthy boundaries, and prioritize their needs.
Stephanie is a Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC), National Certified Counselor (NCC), Certified Clinical Trauma Professional (CCTP), Certified Advanced Alcohol and Drug Counselor (CAADC), and a trained EMDR provider. She holds a master’s degree in clinical counseling from Alvernia University. She has extensive experience providing individual, group, and family therapy, and specializes in working with men, women, and young adults affected by co-occurring trauma, addiction, and mental health disorders. She integrates a variety of evidence-based approaches, including EMDR, Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), Motivational Interviewing (MI), solution-focused and mindfulness-based techniques, assisting clients in recognizing and addressing presenting maladaptive thought and behavior patterns, while facilitating positive, adaptive change.
Outside of her professional work, Stephanie enjoys spending quality time with family and friends, traveling, reading, and practicing yoga as part of her personal self-care.
