Samantha Wagner, LAPC

Sam is a trauma-informed therapist who supports individuals in breaking free from the weight of family, relationship, and workplace trauma to build lives that feel authentic and self-directed. Her approach is straightforward—grounded in warmth, humor, and honesty—which creates a space where healing feels approachable and real. Sam believes therapy works best when it meets you exactly where you are, helping you show up as yourself, define meaningful goals, and use your strengths to move forward.
She is especially passionate about walking alongside people through life’s many transitions—whether it’s navigating college, entering parenthood, facing career burnout, or untangling complex relationship and identity shifts. Sam understands that these seasons can bring uncertainty, self-doubt, and emotional overwhelm. With deep empathy for the challenges of stepping into new roles, breaking generational patterns, and navigating how trauma lives in both the mind and body, she creates a collaborative space where your story can unfold—without judgment or the pressure to “have it all figured out”. Whether through creative expression, meaningful reflection, or walk-and-talk sessions outdoors, Sam tailors therapy to what genuinely works for you. Her goal is to help you reconnect with what matters most, find clarity in your story, and begin showing up for your life in a way that feels grounded, intentional, and unapologetically you.
Sam is a Licensed Associate Professional Counselor (LAPC) who integrates a neuroscience-informed approach—helping clients understand how their nervous system responds to stress, trauma, and healing. She draws from Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT) to support emotional regulation and resilience, and has received training in Trauma-Focused Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (TF-CBT), Cognitive Processing Therapy (CPT), and Solution-Focused Brief Therapy (SFBT). Sam is also actively working toward certifications as a Certified Trauma Professional (CTP) and Certified Shame-Informed Treatment Specialist (CSTS).
Outside of the therapy room, Sam is a proud Eagles fan, an outdoor enthusiast, and a self-proclaimed foodie who’s always on the hunt for the next great bite. She loves spending time with her family and adores her three dogs—Moose, Molly, and Remington.
