Michelle, LPC, GCP, CSAM | Outpatient Director

Michelle is a Licensed Professional Counselor with a Master’s degree in Mental Health Counseling from Kutztown University. She has broad knowledge of community based mental health, utilizing community support specific to a client’s needs. She brings expertise from school-based and outpatient settings. She is skilled in working with all ages but specializes in working with adolescents and adults as they navigate through new life transitions, anger, mood disturbances, and challenges. Michelle is trained and familiar with Perinatal Mental Health; working with both men and women, as they move through that journey.
Michelle has experience supporting individuals who may be struggling during major transitional periods, experiencing anger management, stress, anxiety, depression, educational issues, mood disorders, and emotional support. She is certified in Grief & Loss; understanding that the loss of someone (or something) can be impactful on one’s life in a multitude of ways. She is also a Certified Specialist in Anger Management, assisting individuals in understanding and coping with anger and rage. While working with an individual, she utilizes a Client Centered Approach, while also incorporating Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, Motivational Interviewing, and mindfulness.
She views each client as an individual who presents with their own barriers and goals, appreciating that they will forge their own path using various tools that are right from them. She is happy to assist clients with empathy, direction, and support, as they take the lead working toward those goals. She encourages all clients to be true to themselves, it is only then that they can reach their goal successfully.
