• Breanne, LPC | ASCEND Director

    Breanne Gillease is a Licensed Professional Counselor with her Master’s degree in Clinical Psychology from West Chester University. She has a background in community based mental health. There she worked primarily in an outpatient setting with individuals and families facilitating individual and group sessions. Breanne is passionate about working with young adults and adolescents, but has experience working with all ages of individuals. She has direct experience supporting people with complex trauma, depression, anxiety, life stressors/changes, self-confidence, and bipolar disorder. She utilizes an eclectic approach to therapy including: cognitive behavioral therapy, motivational interviewing, mindfulness, client centered, and trauma focused cognitive behavioral therapy approaches. She believes that therapy is a collaborative experience between client and therapist assisting clients to feel empowered and be the best version of their authentic selves. She does this by creating a non judgemental, hopeful and open minded environment.
