Kayla, LCSW | ASCEND Collective Supervisor
Kayla is passionate about supporting women as they navigate early life transitions, explore their identities, and build lasting self-esteem. Informed by her own lived experiences, she understands the complexity of growing up under unrealistic societal expectations. Kayla brings a blend of compassion, humor, and radical candor to her work, helping you set goals that honor your values, desires, and needs. She fosters a collaborative therapeutic space where you can express yourself authentically, grow in confidence, and reconnect with your inner self.
In addition to her work with women, Kayla is highly skilled in working with children and adolescents experiencing anxiety, depression, and behavioral challenges. She approaches therapeutic work with an environmental lens, working with you to recognize the influence external factors have on personal stress and concerns. Kayla also supports couples and families in navigating conflict, improving communication, and breaking unhealthy patterns. She honors the unique journey of every individual and family, offering empathy, humor, and sincere support along the way.
Kayla is a Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW) trained in evidence-based practices including Bowenian Family Systems Theory, Motivational Interviewing (MI), and Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT). She has completed extensive training in perinatal and women’s mental health, neurodivergence, and couples therapy, equipping her to provide thoughtful, informed, and person-centered care.
Outside the therapy room, Kayla is a proud “fur mama” to her Doberman mix, Jeckyll. She enjoys integrating expressive techniques into her work, inspired by her personal love for art and music.
