• Maria Ranck, LSW

Maria is a licensed social worker passionate about helping individuals navigate the emotional impact of chronic illness, anxiety, trauma, life transitions, and women’s health concerns — with a special focus on endometriosis, reproductive health, and medical trauma. She understands that living with chronic pain, navigating complex medical experiences, or managing an invisible illness can feel isolating, overwhelming, and deeply misunderstood. Her goal is to create a space where clients feel seen, supported, and no longer have to carry these experiences alone.

Maria’s approach is compassionate, collaborative, and trauma-informed, creating a safe environment where clients feel heard, empowered, and understood. She recognizes that repeated medical procedures, dismissal by providers, diagnostic delays, chronic pain, and difficult health experiences can leave lasting emotional effects. Drawing from evidence-based approaches including Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Internal Family Systems (IFS), attachment-based therapies, mindfulness, and trauma-informed care, Maria tailors therapy to meet each client’s unique needs and experiences. She earned her Master of Social Work degree from Temple University.

Together, Maria works with clients to process difficult emotions, heal from medical trauma, strengthen coping skills, rebuild self-trust, and explore patterns that may impact relationships, self-worth, and emotional well-being. She is passionate about helping clients reconnect with the parts of themselves that may feel lost through illness, stress, burnout, or overwhelming life experiences while building a greater sense of safety, resilience, and self-compassion.

Maria believes healing happens when people feel truly understood — mind and body — and strives to help clients build meaningful, sustainable well-being while reclaiming a sense of confidence, hope, and empowerment. Christian, faith-based counseling is available upon request.

Outside of the therapy room, Maria enjoys a good cup of coffee, spending time with friends and family, being with her little dog, and enjoying the outdoors.
