• McKenna Lee, LAPC

McKenna is dedicated to working alongside women of all ages, providing a safe, supportive environment where everyone has a voice. She strives to empower women throughout their perinatal and postpartum journey, as well as children, adolescents, young adults, older adults, LGBTQA+, couples, and families from various backgrounds and cultures. She is passionate about providing care tailored to your needs and helping women feel heard and validated. McKenna offers a comforting, nonjudgmental space for your journey as you set and reach your goals and build confidence.

As an Asian woman, she finds herself deeply connected to issues of race, discrimination, and the stigma women face, as well as the LGBTQ+ community. She is passionate about exploring how a client’s childhood experiences, familial experiences, and/or trauma can affect who they are today, their relationships, and their parenting. She works with clients on a variety of issues such as life transitions, chronic pain, relationships, depression, anxiety, school issues, and adoption and foster care. Her approach is warm and genuine, offering guidance and support as she walks alongside clients as they move toward self-discovery, empowerment, and having their voices heard and valued, no matter how small. Clients are invited to tap into their inner girlhood, childhood, and teenage years and be completely themselves, because who you are is always accepted.

McKenna is a Licensed Associate Professional Counselor, graduating from East Stroudsburg University with her bachelor’s degree in psychology with a concentration in counseling, and Moravian University with her master’s degree in clinical counseling. She has worked extensively in the mental health field, including residential centers, inpatient facilities, outpatient treatment centers, and school settings. McKenna draws from various approaches such as Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), client-centered therapy, culturally informed and trauma-informed techniques, principles from feminist theory, holistic therapy, and play therapy. Her experiences have helped shape her into the therapist she is today.

When McKenna is not at work, she loves going on adventures, reading, getting sweet treats, enjoying boba, spending time with her loved ones, and listening to BTS. If able, she would prefer it to be Fall and spooky season 24/7!
