Rachael LPC, CAADC
Rachael is a Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC) and a Certified Advanced Alcohol and Drug Counselor (CAADC). She graduated from West Chester University of Pennsylvania with a Master’s Degree in Clinical Psychology and from Pennsylvania State University with a Bachelor’s Degree in Neuropsychology. She is trained in Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Dialectical Behavioral Therapy (DBT), Motivational Interviewing, Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR), and Cognitive Processing Therapy (CPT). In addition to these modalities, Rachael incorporates sensorimotor and expressive arts approaches into her therapeutic style.
Rachael is an LGBTQ+ ally, who counsels adults and young adults. She specializes in the treatment of trauma,depression, anxiety, relationship/attachment concerns, life stressors, substance abuse, and struggles with esteem and identity. In addition, Rachael has professional experience working with all age ranges; having began her career working with children who struggle with behavioral and developmental concerns. She has provided care in a variety of settings including inpatient, outpatient, community-care, and school-based environments.
Rachael believes that treatment is a collaborative process and focuses on the unique strengths and needs of each individual. She is passionate about helping her clients to process past traumas, strengthen hope, and realize personal goals. Rachael is available for both in-person and virtual appointments.
