Rachael, LPC, CAADC, CCTPII, EMDR Provider
Rachael is a Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC) within the state of Pennsylvania. As a trauma informed therapist, she offers specialization in the treatment of trauma and addiction related concerns and holds certifications as a Certified Clinical Trauma Professional level 2 (CCTP-II) and Certified Advanced Alcohol and Drug Counselor (CAADC). Rachael also offers support for other common challenges such as depression, anxiety, relationship/attachment concerns, life stressors, perinatal concerns, and struggles with self-esteem and identity.
Rachael believes that treatment is a collaborative process, and she works to focus on the unique strengths and needs of each individual. Her approach to therapy pulls from various modalities including Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR), Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Dialectical Behavioral Therapy (DBT), Internal Family Systems (IFS), Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT), and Cognitive Processing Therapy (CPT). In addition to these modalities Rachael incorporates expressive arts and sensorimotor techniques into sessions.
Rachael has experience in the mental health and substance abuse fields including care provided in a variety of settings such as inpatient, outpatient, community-care, and school-based environments. She received her Master’s degree in clinical psychology from West Chester University of Pennsylvania in 2017 and maintains continuing education as well as consultation in order to stay informed and to provide the best care possible to her clients.
Rachael is an LGBTQ+ ally and offers virtual as well as in person therapy sessions for adults ages 18 years and older. She is committed to guiding you in your healing journey.
