Elisa is a Licensed Associate Professional Counselor, National Certified Counselor, and Certified Trauma and Resilience Specialist-Clinical. She holds a BA in Communication Studies and an MA in Marriage, Couple, and Family Counseling from Kutztown University. Elisa brings a warm, nurturing, and empathetic presence to her work and is honored to help you feel safe, understood, and supported.
Her approach is rooted in the belief that healing happens through connection. When we understand how our early relationships and life experiences shaped the way our brain and body respond to stress, closeness, or conflict, we can begin to rewrite those patterns. Elisa helps you notice these patterns with compassion and curiosity, so you can relate to yourself and others in healthier, more hopeful ways.
With children, Elisa uses play as the natural language of growth. In the playroom, kids learn that their feelings make sense, their voice matters, and they are capable and safe. These changes show up in calmer days at home, stronger confidence, and more flexible problem-solving.
With couples, she helps partners slow down reactive moments so they can understand the emotions underneath. This creates room for repair and even deeper connection.
With families, Elisa supports you in communicating more clearly and working as a team, especially during stressful seasons such as parenting challenges, adoption transitions, grief, divorce adjustments, and major life changes.

Elisa welcomes clients of all beliefs, backgrounds, and identities. As a Christian, faith-based counseling is available upon request. Outside the therapy room, she enjoys hiking, traveling, and spending time with her husband and their rescue dog, Happy Scrappy,who is also learning what it feels like to be safe and loved.
