Caroline Stang, LCSW, CCTP, ART Provider

Caroline is an ART and trauma therapist who specializes in supporting individuals who are looking to be free from the bounds of shame around their trauma experiences and emotional responses. She is passionate about providing psychoeducation that helps clients make sense of why their minds and bodies may respond the way they do in varying circumstances. Through a warm and supportive approach, Caroline creates a space where clients will feel heard, validated, and supported as they reconnect with themselves, build self-trust, and move toward healing.
In addition to her work with trauma, Caroline has a special interest in helping individuals navigate eating disorders, body image concerns, anxiety, and challenges with self-esteem. Using approaches such as Internal Family Systems (IFS), Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), and a strengths-based lens, she supports clients in learning practical tools while also guiding deeper emotional insight. When working with those struggling with disordered eating, Caroline is aligned with the Health at Every Size (HAES) and intuitive eating approaches. Above all, Caroline believes that meaningful change happens in a trusting therapeutic relationship, where clients feel safe enough to explore, reflect, and heal at their own pace.
Caroline is a Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW), a Certified Clinical Trauma Professional (CCTP) with training in Internal Family Systems (IFS), and has years of experience supporting individuals with eating disorders. She provides services to individuals from adolescence through adulthood, feeling most connected with the young adult population. Her clinical work is grounded in trauma-informed care and focused on bringing authenticity and candidness to the therapeutic space.
Outside of the therapy room, Caroline loves going to the beach, spending time with family, going for runs, and adoring her cat, Albert. She feels comforted when listening to Harry Potter on audiobook and giggling at sitcoms that she’ll watch over and over again. She loves the humor, sarcasm, and wit of her favorite shows and appreciates the opportunity to quote episodes from Friends or New Girl at any time!
